Lenovo company brought out three new smartphones dubbed Lenovo S5, This device have been launched in China, and are expected to hit the Indian shores soon. Let’s take a look at what Lenovo is offering with new launches and what is the budget segment that the company is looking at.
The highlights of the phone include dual rear cameras and 18:9 display. Concerning design, the Lenovo S5 boasts a full metal body with 2.5D curved glass and bears a 5.7-inch full-HD+ IPS display with 1080×2160 pixels resolution. On the software side of things, the phone runs Android 8.0

Lenovo S5 Price in China and India
LenovoS5 starting price of CNY 999 (approx. Rs. 10,300) for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant, CNY 1,199 (approx. Rs. 12,400) for the 3GB RAM + 64GB storage model, and lastly, CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 15,400) for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant.
Lenovo S5 Camera
Lenovo S5 sports 13MP+13MP dual camera setup on the rear with dual color temperature flash and f/2.2 aperture. The two lenses on the rear offer depth of field that is pre-requisite for creating Bokeh effect. On the front, there is a 16MP fixed focus camera with 80.2-degree wide-angle lens and f/2.2 aperture.
Lenovo S5 Connectivity and Storage
For connectivity, the Lenovo S5 supports 4G VoLTE, dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, Bluetooth v4.2, and 3.5mm audio jack. There is a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel, which is touted by the company to unlock the device in 0.09 seconds. For Storage, you get 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card).
As we mentioned in the beginning, these phones are currently limited to China and may soon be launched in India too. However, they are set to face fierce competition from Xiaomi and Honor.
